Christmas cards of your village
Send me 5 or 10 old postcards of your village. I turn them into wintry Christmas cards and have them printed in sets that you sell yourself, for example for a good cause or your club funds.
Example: the Paal set
Ten old postcards of Paal, turned into winter scenes with a Christmas or New Year greeting. The back shows the original postcard, softly faded, with room for the address and stamp. The proceeds went to Open Hart in Paal.
Another example: Middelburg (Maldegem)
An old summer photo of the Schorreweg in Middelburg, turned into a snowy winter evening with light in the windows. Each card gets its own atmosphere and greeting.
How it works
- Step 1
Send the postcards
You send 5 or 10 old postcards of your village, as a scan or photo. I can also help you find them.
- Step 2
Approve the designs
Each card becomes a winter scene with a greeting of your choice. Nothing is printed without your approval.
- Step 3
Printing and delivery
The cards are printed on both sides and delivered to you directly by the printer, packed per design. You put the sets together yourself: for 100 sets that is done in no time, and it keeps the price low.
- Step 4
Sell
You sell the sets yourself. A set of 10 sells easily for €10 to €15.
Price. €350 for 100 sets of 10 cards, so 1,000 cards in total. That is €3.50 per set, design included. The cards are delivered to you directly by the printer, shipping included. Smaller or larger runs are possible too: just ask for a quote.
